As a valued stakeholder, I write to update you on another positive development at Caribbean Airlines. During the last year we conducted a detailed review of our network to improve our customer service delivery. The feedback has resulted in the development of a suite of products and promotions to enhance the customer experience.
The first of these products is “Caribbean Plus”. “Caribbean Plus” is a product which offers extra leg room within the economy cabin of the Boeing 737 jet aircraft. On this aircraft, customers can pre-book and purchase seats in rows 4 – 10 which have been reconfigured with more legroom. On the ATR aircraft, they can pre-book and pay for seats in rows 15 and 16.
In addition to extra legroom, “Caribbean Plus” gives travellers the benefits of earlier boarding, extra room to recline and the ability to exit faster on arrival at their destinations.
“Caribbean Plus” seats may be bought on all routes, subject to availability, except on domestic flights between Trinidad and Tobago. These seats will be available for purchase on/after May 01st for flights for travel on/after June 01st.

The city serves primarily as a retail and administrative centre and it has been the capital of the island since 1757. It is also an important financial services centre for the Caribbean and is home to two of the largest banks in the region. Port of Spain is the second largest capital city in the English-speaking Caribbean and is one of the largest cities in the Caribbean. It is also the largest capital city in the Lesser Antilles and southern Caribbean and is the most southern capital city in the Caribbean. Port of Spain was also the capital of the short-lived West Indies Federation, which united the Caribbean. Caricom was established in Chaguaramas, west of Port of Spain. The city is also home to the largest container port on the island and is one of several shipping hubs of the Caribbean, exporting both agricultural products and manufactured goods. Bauxite from Guyana is trans-shipped via facilities at at Chaguaramas, about 8 kilometres (5 mi) west of the city. The pre-lenten Carnival is the city's main annual cultural festival and tourist attraction.
Trinidad & Tobago
Trinidad and Tobago is a twin island country near Venezuela, with distinctive Creole traditions and cuisines. It is the third richest country by GDP (PPP) per capita in the Americas after the United States and Canada. Furthermore, it is recognised as a high income economy by the World Bank. Unlike most of the English-speaking Caribbean, the country's economy is primarily industrial, with an emphasis on petroleum and petrochemicals. The country's wealth attributes to its large reserves and exploitation of oil and natural gas. Trinidad and Tobago is the leading Caribbean producer of oil and gas. Trinidad and Tobago is known for its Carnival and is the birthplace of steelpan, limbo, and the music styles of calypso, soca, Parang and chutney.
