St. Lucia is home to three Sandals locations: Regency La Toc and Halcyon Beach in Castries and the Grande St. Lucian is Gros-Islet.

The Regency La Toc proudly declares itself a golf resort, so if you love gold, this is the place to go. Even if you are not a fan of golf, the Regency La Toc has some of the most beautiful, even spectacular accommodations in the Sandals family. Halcyon Beach follows suit with a focus more on tranquility and its paradisiacal settings. The Grande St. Lucian proudly proclaims itself to be a “Spa & Resort” and its location, nestled on a private peninsula, make it one of the more unique Sandals getaways.

When it comes to food and drink, the Grande St. Lucian has the best diversity of all the Sandals resorts. Not only does it have Italian cuisine and Seafood, but it also has Oriental and Indian. However, Josephine’s Creperie is a stand out amongst the dining selections. If you tend to lean more toward European cuisine, then you’ll want to stay at the Regency La Toc and its focus on French and Italian restaurants with Seafood thrown in for good measure. Halcyon Beach, following its theme of tranquility, relies more on open air dining rooms and comfort food. Granted, it’s Italian, American, and Japanese comfort food, but easy and comfortable none the less. If you are still not sure which one is best for you, the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia also have a “Stay at one, play at all” policy. You will have transportation between resorts provided for you if you feel the need to explore what the other resorts have to offer, and they all have quite a lot.

As for activities off the resort, there is a place called Hotel Chocolat. That would be enough for many people. There is also ATV tours, sailing tours, sightseeing and shopping, as well as tours of the gorgeous vegetation and landscape.
