Beaches in Jamaica has two resorts as previously mentioned. They are Beaches Ocho Rios and Beaches Negril.

Being a family oriented resort, Beaches Ocho Rios has something for everyone. There is a massive action adventure water-park for the kids and access to a championship grade golf course for the grown-ups. Beaches Negril skews toward the more laid back experience with seven miles of sandy beach.

Don’t forget though, these are part of the “Stay at one, play at all” package in Jamaica which means you won’t miss out on anything regardless of which resort you choose. When it comes to food and drink, Beaches Negril is the place to go if you like your food from the southwest. They have Arizona’s Tex Mex and BAR B.Q. Park. Beaches Ocho Rios swaps Arizona’s Tex Mex for Josephine’s Creperie. Given the food selection, some people might want to make trying all of the food their activities. While on the topic of activities, the family focus really shines through at the beaches resorts. In addition to the water sports and land sports offered at all Sandals and Beaches resorts, Beaches Jamaica adds the Xbox Lounge, Sesame Street at The Beaches, Kids Camp at The Beaches, The DJ Academy, and Trench Town, a tween oriented arcade. Come to think of it, it might be better to go as a kid because you get all this and mom and dad pay for it! Off resort activities are also varied. Turks and Caicos

Beaches in Turks and Caicos is one resort with four distinctly different “Villages” for you to choose from: Caribbean, Italian, Key West, and French. Each village takes its styling cue from these themes. The Caribbean Village is more of an oasis near the sea. The Italian Village is the most traditional with many old world accents. The Key West Village is decidedly western and laid back. Lastly, the French Village echoes from a time of the French colonies in the Caribbean. Jamaica

Jamaica is an island nation in the Caribbean, located to the south of Cuba and to the west of the island of Hispaniola. It is best known for its lush topography of mountains, rainforests and reef-lined beaches. Many of its all-inclusive resorts are clustered in the vibrant city, Montego Bay, with its British colonial architecture, and Negril, renowned for diving and snorkelling. Jamaica's climate is tropical, supporting diverse ecosystems with a wealth of plants and animals. Previously inhabited by the indigenous Arawak and Taíno peoples, the island came under Spanish rule following the arrival of Christopher Columbus in 1494. Named Santiago, it remained a possession of Spain until 1655, when England (later Great Britain) conquered the island and renamed it Jamaica. Under British rule, Jamaica became a leading sugar exporter, with its plantation economy highly dependent on slaves imported from Africa, followed later by Chinese and Indian indentured labour.
