Arrived at the airport in Cayo Coco and boarded the bus to resort only 15 minutes to the resort. we filled in our registration on the bus and were checked in imediately. They had a staff member show us to our accomodation as it was a night time arrival. This is great resort for children with daily activities . The beach is not to wide and the water is shallow out for a distance. We upgraded to the /diamond level so we could have a second floor balcony. The room had a king sized hard bed which we like for people with weak backs. Food at the resort was typical for Cuba. It was basic but enough variety so nobody should go away starving. The ground around the resort were very well maintained by the staff. When you arrived at the resort you could change your Canadian money into Peso at the front desk. Please remember that when tipping use the Cuban Peso for tips. The waiters and other staff cannot convert their tips from Canadian money into Peso. The music in the Piano bar was fantastic. The musicians are all professional trained in Cuba. The down fall was that this was the only enclosed bar at the resorts and the noise level drown out the music at times. All the desk staff are all vey educated and speak many languages. Overall the resort is small and could do with some updating. If you have children this is a great place to visit.

The strong pointsThe Beach. Great Staff. Musicians in the piano bar. Proximity to the airport. Close walk to everything in the resort. The weak pointsOlder resort so needs some refurbishing in the rooms. The disco was not open when we were there.
