“Nothing to write home about”

Location is good, pool is heated, thats about it, no wifi in the room had to bring laptop to lobby, plain hotel.

“Ramada Gateway Kissimmee”

Excellent service from staff at front desk, in restaurant, lounge and maids. The complimentary continental breakfast was better than expected and for an additional $5 you could get the good buffet breakfast also. I was particularly happy that there was no resort fee at this hotel. Very close to a wide range of grocery stores and restaurants and shops. Complimentary safe service at reception. Courtesy shuttles to Epcot and Magic Kingdom were generally on time. Only bad points: Courtesy shuttles from hotel were usually crowded forcing people to stand the whole way including children/seniors. Also, would have been nice to have a shuttle leaving parks ealier in evening - i.e. 6 pm. Our room was clean but badly in need of refurbishment (the carpet was stained and there were signs of mold and cracks where insects were getting in). It was tolerable though. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness. For the low rate we paid, and knowing this was a 3 star, I would rate our hotel experience as "beyond expectations".The strong pointsEnjoyed excellent customer service from all staff, especially front desk and restaurant staff. Location excellent - close to Walt Disney World. No resort fees. Excellent price. Complimentary safe behind reception. Much better than room safe.

The weak pointsCourtesy shuttles often had no room for everyone to be seated forcing standing room only. Room in need of refurbishment. Internet access available in lobby but not complimentary - 20cents a minute. Didn't use it

“Solid value with great staff”

Not the newest hotel on the strip but more than adequate for the price... Dailly housekeeping kept room clean, the in-room fridge was handy for snacks and drinks, and while the inn rooms have spotty wifi, my room always had good signal. While not intended for streaming video, I had 1mb/sec download speeds... Nice, always pleasant staff was eager to help with any of my needs. Only downside was the "pizza". Not exactly pizzaria style, but it was cheap....
