This wildlife hotspot is home to the region’s largest Adélie penguin colony, while also featuring leopard seals, and humpback and minke whales. The area is also known as Iceberg Alley due to all the large chunks of ice that break off the nearby Antarctic ice shelf and flow through the waters.
