NOT A PROBLEM Emergency exercises at St Johns YYT Airport
People coming through the St. John's, Newfoundland, airport today should be aware there will be emergency exercises going on. A security threat and major aircraft emergency exercise happens once every two years to test the plans of Airport Security and emergency response in the event of an emergency.
Visitors are being advised there will be a large presence of emergency vehicles and activity near the airport including Torbay Road and R-C-A-F Road during the exercise.The exercise will begin at 8:15 a-m and is expected to wrap up by noon.
