Overview

What makes Saint Thomas so unique is that it is a part of the US Virgin Islands. This island has a lot of things to do such as snorkelling, shopping and also sailing.  There is also a world renowned golf course. Saint Thomas also has one of the busiest ports in the Caribbean.

Canadians travelling to the US Virgin Islands must present a passport which must be valid until the date departure out of the country.

-     A local temporary driving permit is recommended

-     Hurricanes season extends from June to the end November

Carnival

The first event of the year that you get to celebrate is carnival. It starts from mid-April to the beginning of May. Carnival is a time to celebrate with friends and family. It is also the time to have fun to cheerful music and take part in enthusiastic dance moves that will have you on your feet all day.

Tree Limin’ Extreme zip line Park

At this attraction they offer 2 ½ hours of fun and exciting zip lining through the forest. Before zip ling a pinzgauer will take you to the top of St Peters Mountain. There are six different zip lines which you can enjoy in the wonderful sun. There is also a surprise in store called the Yo-Yo which is the only zip line in the Caribbean.

Paradise Point St, Thomas Skyride

Persons without automobile transportation this is the best way to see the views of Saint Thomas. It brings visitors high above Charlotte Amalie harbour from here you can see St Croix, Vieques and Culebra on a clear day. Other activities are also available such as shopping for souvenirs and hiking a nature trail.

Coral World Ocean Park

At this park everyone gets a chance to see the sea animals. This park has voted the best Tourist Attraction and Eco Tourism Activity over ten years. They offer exotic aquariums outdoor marine pools and nature trails. Visitors have an opportunity to feed stingrays and also pet the sharks. What is unique about this attraction is visitors can get a divers eye-view of the fishes without having to learn how to dive. Helmets are given with oxygen pumped in.
