Isla Mujeres is an island just off the coast of Cancun, so your vacation starts with you skimming across a turquoise paradise as you are transported to your hotel. Depending on what time your flight lands in Cancun, you will either be transferred to the private marina in order to go on the hotel’s private boat service to Isla Mujeres where you will arrive directly at the hotel’s dock OR you will be transferred to the Public Ferry Terminal to board a Large ferry to Isla Mujeres. If you arrive to Isla Mujeres by Public Ferry you will need to take a taxi (approx. cost $ 5 – 8 USD payable by guest ) to the Isla Mujeres Palace Please be advised upon arrival at the Public or Private Ferry docks there may be a wait due to the boat/ferry schedule. The hotel private boat transfer is not available on Wednesday’s for arrivals or departures. All guests with Wednesday arrivals or departures will be required to transfer to and from hotel using the public ferry and taxi services.

“Isla Mujeres Palace”

Good for rest and relaxation, only one problem is the two party beaches on each side of the resort. Boats coming in playing loud music kind of takes away the atmosphere of the resort.

“Excellent Choice”

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. Keep in mind its small and not alot of entertainment nor planned activities but that's what we were looking for. We got a $1500 credit from the resort so didn't have to pay extra for any activities or tours.

The strong points
The staff are excellent. You get personal one on one service. Resort is usually at 40 to 50% capacity and there was lots of pool/beach chairs all the time. Never crowded

The weak points
On each side of the resort are 2 party areas for day trippers. We only heard the noise 2x (we had pool view) but those with oceanview were bothered by the thumping music. The beach is nice but not the best I've been at.

“Isla Mujeres”

Voyage d’une semaine au Isla Mujeres Palace. Petit complexe d’environ 64 chambres très propre avec services exceptionnels. Nourriture excellente, si vous aimez les fruits de mer, steak, tacos, poulet, etc. Très attentif aux allergies alimentaires. Malgré le nombre restraint de restaurant, excellente variété des menus. Qualité de la nourriture impeccable. Pas de problème pour avoir des chaises de plage ou à la piscine. Même chose pour les serviettes de plage qui sont toujours disponibles. Personnel très attentif à vos besoins. Je dois dire que tous les membres du personnel sont courtois et polis. Mention spéciale à Joel, Paolo, Juan, Francisco, Macedonio et Marta.

Personnel, propreté, nourriture, état des lieux, chambres, boissons. Pas besoin acheter des vins, car les vins qui servent sont de bonne qualité.

The weak points
Petite plage, mais il y a une plage publique à proximité.
