Day 1    Munich (D)
Welcome to Germany! Arrival in the Munich international airport, and then you will be transferred to your hotel. Accommodation: Hotel in Munich for 2 nights Day 2     Munich (B/D) Breakfast will be served at the hotel. After breakfast we will visit the city’s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is celebrated annually in September and the world’s largest beer festival. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. In the evening you enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner.

Day 3    Munich – Passau – Linz (B) Breakfast will be served at your hotel. In the morning we travel to Passau. This city, on the border between Germany and Austria, has a very privileged location by the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz rivers. In the afternoon we cross the Austrian border to the city of Linz, a picturesque town on the banks of the Danube River. Accommodation: Hotel in Linz for 1 night

Day 4     Linz – Dürnstein – Melk – Vienna (B) After breakfast we enjoy a short stop at the village of Dürnstein, nestled in the heart of the magnificent Wachau Valley. The charming town of Dürnstein offers a unique combination of breathtaking scenery and traditional architecture. It was in the Kuenringer Castle, whose ruins still overlook Dürnstein, that the English King Richard Lionheart was held prisoner. We continue to Melk for a short visit to the famous Abbey. Finally we arrive at Vienna, the magnificent capital of Austria. Accommodation: Hotel in Vienna for 2 nights

Day 5    Vienna (B/D) Breakfast will be served at the hotel you stay. Today, you will have a sightseeing tour of Vienna. Suring the tour, you will admire the Opera, Hofburg Palace, Heroes Gate, Parliament, the Council and the other attractions. In the afternoon, it’s free to explore Vienna at your leisure. At night, you can attend a gala dinner accompanied by live classical music (this is optional, not included).

Day 6    Vienna – Lake District – Salzburg (B) In the morning after breakfast, we continue to the Lake District and ascend to Mount Zwölferhorn by cable car to enjoy wonderful views over the Lake Wolfgang. Then you will continue to the city of Salzburg, where the genius composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born. You will join a sightseeing tour with examples of breathtaking Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque artistry. Our visit also includes the world famous Mirabell Gardens and we also visit the house where Mozart grew up. Accommodation: Hotel in Salzburg for 1 night

Day 7    Salzburg – Berchtesgaden – Chiemsee – Munich – Departure (B) After breakfast we travel along the Königsee River Valley, through the Bavarian mountains, along romantic farmhouses to Obersalzberg. Special buses and an elevator will bring us to the Eagle´s Nest. From there we continue to Lake Chiemsee, the “Bavarian Sea” for a short stop. The program ends at the Munich International Airport, around 6 pm.
