Disney Cruise Line will offer Quebec Canada
Next year Disney Cruise Line will offer an itinerary that includes three calls in Quebec. Starting September 2018 Disney Magic will sail from New York to Quebec with two full days in Quebec City, with stops in Saguenay and Baie-Comeau
FOURTH INVESTOR
AmaWaterways has announced that it has closed on an investment from travel and hospitality investor group Certares LP. Certares joins the Schreiner/Karst, Murphy and McGeary families as the company’s fourth investor, all of whom remain committed to supporting AmaWaterways long-term growth and innovation in the river cruising industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
LOWER EXPECTATIONS
Norwegian Cruise Line Holding’s president and CEO Frank Del Rio said this year’s ‘wave season’ was a good one. He did say however that the China market is not necessarily going to meet expectations. The Chinese government asked travel companies to halt services to South Korea in response to Seoul’s deployment of a US missile defence system. Most cruise lines have had to replace Busan and Jeju with ports in Japan.
South Korea is typically a draw for Chinese cruisers.

New York City
New York City is the most populous city in the United States and the center of the New York metropolitan area. The city has a significant impact on global commerce, finance, media, culture, art, fashion, research, education, and entertainment. As host of the United Nations Headquarters, it is also an important center for international affairs. The city is often referred to as ''New York City'' or the ''City of New York'', to distinguish it from the state of New York, of which it is a part. Located on a large natural harbor on the Atlantic coast of the Northeastern United States, New York City consists of five boroughs: The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.
Alaska
Alaska is a U.S. state situated in the northwest extremity of the Americas. With landscapes that stretch out seemingly to infinity, it is known for its dramatic, diverse terrain of wide-open spaces, mountains and forests, with abundant wildlife and many small towns. Alaska was viewed as a frozen wasteland, not realizing it would turn out to be one of the United States' richest resources for gold and oil. It took until 1959 for the territory to become a State of the Union. For lovers of nature, few places exhilarate like Alaska!
Quebec
Canada's second most populous province, Quebec is also the only one to have a predominantly French-speaking population, with French as the sole provincial official language. Its historic capital, Québec City, celebrates one of the world's most brutal winters with a carnival that features parades of majorettes and teams who race boats across an ice-choked river. Quebec is unique among North American tourist destinations. Its French heritage does not only set the province apart from most of its English speaking neighbors, it is also one of the few historical areas in North America to have fully preserved its Francophone culture. Its European feel and its history, culture and warmth have made Quebec a favourite tourist destination both nationally and internationally.
